It's also Stanely's Gotcha Day so we decided to head down to the cottage that he shared with Asta with breakfast baskets and some small presents to surprise him.

In the afternoon we got ready for the Big Parade. Before progressing to the parade we met at the Temple Bar for another drink.....

The Temple bar is located on the south bank of the River Liffey in Dublin and unlike its surrounding areas still preserves the medieval characters of the city, with many narrow, cobbled streets. It is the cultural quarter of Dublin and is popular with artists and visitors alike.

Here we are, at the head of the Parade.....

In recognition of our contribution to the cultural events, we were invited back to the Dublin Castle for the Ball. We assembled at the Red Room ....

St Patrick's Hall is the grandest room of the State Apartments, and contains one of the most important decorative interiors in Ireland. Formerly the ballroom of the Lord Lieutenant's administration, today the room is used for presidential inaugurations. It is also one of the oldest rooms in the castle, dating from the 1740's. We danced and danced till the early hours of the morning and flaked out as soon as we hit our beds.
