SS and gran are going away for 2 weeks to visit relatives. Poor little me will once again be abandoned. SS assured me that I would be well looked after by her sister during her absence. Yes, the food, milk and treats will be there, but it's not the same - no one to play, pet and cuddle me, no one to coo at me and no soft tummy to knead on............ :(((((.

Visit to Fin
After celebrating the birthdays of my LSIF, Siena, and her mom, we bade Chilli farewell in the morning and become airborne again on the Magic Carpet.
Here we are, loaded with treats and presents, flying over the warm desert towards the home of our SIF, Fin.
She shows us around her spring garden and we share the treats which SS and Siena’s mom thoughtfully provided……
Thirsty after the treats? No problem. Fin shows us how to drink from her fountain of cool, tasty water…..
Too soon, it’s time to say goodbye and we return to our respective homes...

Taking a trip
I am embarking on a long trip to a faraway place. Here I am on the Magic Flying carpet...
On my way to help celebrate the second birthday of my little sister-in-floof, Siena.
Inside the box is....
Please go over and wish her, and her mom, a happy birthday and see what we are up to....
We are planning an adventure trip after her birthday. Come with us tomorrow to another land and another kitty's place.

Seeking the sun
Sunday – an auspicious day for this kitty to survey the garden for sunny spots. It is becoming increasingly imperative as the days are getting shorter and cooler. Where we live is quite temperate by most standards, hence all the more reason I have to find warm spots to toast myself in the winter months since I can theoretically stay outdoors in the garden all the time. I would like to stress ‘theoretically’ because I don’t really want stay out all the time. This kitty is not stupid enough to stay out when it’s windy, wet or under 15C (60F).
After deliberation, the favoured places are:
At SS’s study door for the morning sun....
On top of the BBQ for the midday sun.....
In front of the side door of the garage for the afternoon sun.....
Of course, the roof is good for all day sun but terribly inconvenient when I am called for treats and snacks.....
That more or less covers the daylight hours. At night, it’s indoors by SS’s command.

Old Furriends remembered
Apart from my dear 'sisters' ....
I have listed them chronologically, as I met them during the time I have been blogging.
Zoolatry - Maggy and Zoey
Miss Ann and the Zoolatry girls were among my earliest visitors and showered me with their friendship and attention.
Topcatrules - Trixie, Pyewacket and Tigger
The girls at the TCR were frequent visitors and we had outings and parties together. I miss them!
Opus and Roscoe
Opus and Roscoe hosted the first themed party that I was invited. I was very sad when Roscoe went to to Bridge. One day we will meet again.
Jan's Funny Farm
The furries at Jan's Funny Farm have been firm friends. We have had good times at parties and offered each other support in sad times.
Dr Tweety
Ah, my drinking mate! Please come back to the blogging world soon.
Socks, Scylla and Charybdis
Last but not least, my boyfriend Socks and his sisters. We have such fun time in each other's company.
Yes, some of them has gone to the Bridge and some have stopped blogging. Nonetheless, they remain in my fond memory forever.

Thursday in the Garden
It's been wet lately so I have been staying indoors much of the time and only come out to inspect the garden with SS when the rain eases up. See the yellow flower behind me?

Thursday gardening
It's been raining, which is good for the garden but not so good for me as I don't like getting my coat and paws wet.
Remember the big pot plant with the red flowers that I showed last week, here it is again behind me to my left....
Well, look at the flowers in full bloom...
Isn't that something! We are pretty sure it belongs to the Protea family.
Here is our evergreen corner. It's my corner, since it is right by the foot of the garden lounge where I like to rest and snooze during the day, especially when it's wet.
This last picture is for those who like to hunt in the garden....
Baby LIZARDS!!!!! Aren't they cute though? There have been quite a few in my garden lately, living mainly in or around the basin. They are safer there as they would be out of my sight. SS just has to be careful not to flush them down the drain when she turns the tap on.
