Grandma's oriental formal sitting room with many breakables and scratchables. Out of bounds to all furries (I think the rule is aiming primarily at me since my cousins, Charlotte and Marzepan, never visit).

Enters a kitty (does look a bit like me, don't you think?).....

What's there? How how do you expect a kitty to see out without getting onto the settee?......

I can't see you, therefore you can't see me.....

Shhhhh, don't tell gran or I'd be in trouble. Quick, SS, fix the cushions before she notices!

Off to Hobart

Now, Boxing Day is THE day of yacht racing for Oz!!! The exciting classic Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is ON!

I, Momo, is forever ready for this big event.

Here I am, on my way on a Maxi yacht to visit my pal, Pablo, who lives in Hobart.

Woooohooooo, Pabs, have the drinks ready. Here I come!!!!!

My SS has been very busy lately and has not been able to help me to blog. There has been no new pcitures of me because I have been unwell with gum infection and have spent much of my time in hiding. Glad to report that I am now better and making tentative appearances out from under the bed.

Thanks to utlra artistic furriends like Diamond and Zoolatry, who have kindly made some beautiful graphics for me, I will be posting these over the next few days. Some of these may be familiar since they have already been posted in the blogs of the respective artist kitties. Others were specially made for me for the festive season, for which I am very grateful.

A big, big thankyou to lovely Diamond, Maggie and Zoey and to all of you for being my furriends.

Sequel to the Arabian Nights Party

Now all you kitties who thought the party has finished with Karl and Ruis leaving for a romantic holiday ARE WRONG. You haven't reckoned on the force of Sassy. Go to Karl's blog and read all about it.

Yep, that's right. We stowed away in the suitcase that Sassy packed for them, with strict instruction not to open it until they reach their destination. We had no idea where they were going at the time and we weren't going to miss out.

Unfortunately, things didn't quite turn out as planned and we spent most the trip IN the suitcase. So we dreamt of the 'what ifs' once we were let out ......

But all was well at the end.......

And we all came home safely on the Magic Carpet....

It is a scrapbook design that Leslie, Pyewacket's mom, designed for Perry, who went to the Bridge some months ago. She was a stray taken in by my cousin when she was a student and has since faithfully followed her around Australia over the years and finally to New York when she and her then boyfriend (now husband) moved there a few years ago.

A Surprise Party for Ruis

Karl has organized a surprise party for his beloved Ruis. As the theme of the party is Arabian Nights, it is most appropriate to go there in my Magic Carpet. On the way I pick up my boyfurriend, Socks, and my sissy, Sassy.


When we arrive, the special tent that has been set up for presents is already cramped full of goodies and many have already arrived before us.....


It is so good to be able to catch up with efurryone. Let the dancing begin.....

Getting better

I am deeply appreciative of all the well wishes and purrs that all my old and new furriends have sent. I feel so loved and warm, despite the fact that the temperature is not so high here. Below are two very cute cards that I have received amongst the good vibes, purrs, purrays, healing teas and chickens.

Thankyou efurrybuddy!!! You really are the bestest friends that a kitty can have. When I am better, I shall come purrsonally to visit you all. At present, I am trying to get a bit more strength and weight on as I have lost nearly 25% of my weight in the last few days.

Thankyou efurrybuddy ++++++ for all the purrs and well wishes. It must have been all your purrs that I am getting slightly better. I have started eating a little chicken meat and drinking a bit of milk with some coaxing. I am still hiding under the bed and refuse to be cuddled and touched. SS is still worried because I am losing weight +++. I am under 3 kgs!!!

The toys are gifts from SS's niece who is a fan of Hello Kitty.

CCSI new show

I am pleased to announce that after weeks of hard work by the executives of CCSI, a new show is about to air.

I would like to introduce the executives of the CCSI and welcome Asta, the New York urbanista, into the company this season. She is in charge of the wardrobe and is responsible for the fashionable designs that the actors will be wearing in this show.
