Thursday in the Garden with Charlotte

It's late summer for us.  After the heat wave a few weeks ago which killed a lot of the plants, there has been substantial rain which helped to revive the garden somewhat.

Here is the Memorial Fountain for MoMo.  It is blooming nicely thanks to the loving daily care of SS's brother.  Of course, I have been supervising and helping too.

SS has been busy with work and nursing duties lately and has not been able to help me visit and blog.  We miss all our furriends and hope that you are all doing well.

I am not sure when I am going home.  Just as well I like it here and don't mind staying.

That's enough effort for the day.  I am taking a well-deserved snooze......

Wordless Wednesday - Not

Being a chatterbox, I just don't get the idea of wordless any day.  Here I am, wondering if any treats are on offering.  Perhaps if I give my pretty look, I may have more chance of scoring.  What do you think?  Is this look good enough for a treat or two..or three...or four......

Urgent purrs and prayers needed for Asta

Sweet Asta is undergoing surgery for a mass.  We hope it is not cancer.  Please, please purr and pray for her.

Caturday with Charlotte

It's been a crazy sort of week, so we can all relax on Saturday.  For a spot of kitty humour, please visit Wendy's LOL post.  Charlotte is the lucky kitty featured in this hilarious post.

It's been cool, stormy, windy and totally not the sort of days that you would stay in the garden.  The only thing feasible is......

Yes, you guessed it.  That's my chair and my cotton throw.  Nobody sits there, once the throw is laid out.  Otherwise, I would be severely displeased.

SS, you go and talk to Mr Sun.  I am starting to suffer from cabin fever and need to go out very soon.  Sooner the better.

Wordless Wednesday

Toy Tuesday

I don't have many toys but I just love my Elmo....

I bat it around, I talk to it, I sleep with it.  Wherever I go, he goes.  We are inseparable.  He has been with me since I was a kitten.  Yes, he is a little battered, but I prefer him to other newer toys.

SS has to wash him and clean him up from time to time, especially now that I take him out to the garden with me during the day and he does get dirty.  Some evenings she has to retrieve him from the flower bed when I go in for dinner.  Well, she has to, because I make a lot of noise at night if Elmo is not with me comes bedtime.  It is by far easier to find him when it is still light than having to rely on torch light. 

Wordy Wednesday

Hi efurryone!  Charlotte here.  You would never find me wordless.  I am a chatterbox. I chatter to my toys, to SS and anycat who happens to be in my territory, especially if it is in my territory.  You probably all wonder why I am still here.  Well, my mom hasn't found a place to live yet.  Frankly, I quite like the garden and the company.  Plus I get lots of human food treats here, like ham and cheese.  Don't tell my mom though.  She doesn't approve.  Enough said, you must all be hankering for a glimpse of pretty me.....

SS - That Charlotte is a posy kitty.
Charlotte - SS, what are you saying behind my back?
SS - Nothing.  Just that you are photogenic.
Charlotte - Didn't quite sound like that, but that'll do.
