Now that we are at the beautiful Niagara Falls, we decide to stay a little longer to enjoy it. Socks and I are having a quiet time in our room.....

Happy Valentine's Day

It’s that time of the year again. The gang decides that we should all go to somewhere romantic and exciting for Valentine’s Day. The obvious choice is the majestic Niagara Falls.

Here we are, all packed into the Magic Van with our sweethearts heading for the Falls when Karl spots a roadside shop selling barrels and other things and suggests that we stop for a stretch of legs. Gracie seems to be quite taken with the barrels and insists that we should get some. Whatever for? This kitty decides to keep quiet and let the shopaholics have their way.

Presently, we arrive at the hotel which is situated right by the Falls. Despite the cold weather outside the interior is quite warm and some of us quickly strip down to our natural fur coat.

After a little rest, Socks and I decide to experience the Falls by ourselves at close quarters….

The gang regroups and we set out to check out the Falls on land and from the air ……

We return to the hotel and we girls take the opportunity to chat before the evening activities....

My SS is away in the country and I am heading to Gracie's Superbowl Party, please come over and join us. Gracie always gives a good party. Her mom is a pro at it.

Pomelo

Pomelo at three months

Do you remember Pomelo? He made his first appearance here, at six weeks old, in November when he was first adopted by his mom, a family friend of SS. Here he is again, at about three months. Isn't he a cutie?

His family will be going to New Zealand next week and he will be coming to us for a short holiday. So I am sure you will be seeing more of him soon. SS is worried that I won't like another kitty coming to the house, seeing that I have been the only cat in the household for more than 8 years. He is an indoor-only kitty because his folks live in an apartment, and will not be let out to the garden during his stay.

Caturday

The sun appeared briefly this morning and I took the opportunity to smell the grass and enjoy the warm sun. I was in such a good mood that I even posed for this photo......
