Easy Sunday in the Garden

It's a little cooler in the morning after the overnight rain, so I am let out to the back garden to smell the grass and take in the fresh air.

There are also birdies up on there in the trees, but they are way too high for me to attempt to catch.

As you get older, you are wiser and don't waste energy doing the impossible. So I settle for a relaxing stretch on the lawn, while SS prepares breakfast for herself, which usually means treats for me.

I don't think I will be allowed to stay out for too long as it is going to be a hot day again. I can always watch the garden and the birdies from the French windows...

PS We are having a lot of problems visiting blogs and leaving comments. While we have signed up to be followers of blogs, we don't always get notified of new posts of the blogs we are following. Anyone else have similar problems?

Does wisdom really come with age? No wonder we are not wise right now... and won't be for a long long time.

We occasionally get trouble with posts not showing in reader. Someone's post didn't show yesterday but we can't remember who, possibly Sweet Praline.
We think the grass always smell nice and fresh after summer rain. Do you chitter at the birds in the trees?

You look gorgeous in the garden. Are you feeling better? Sorry we have not been around. Mom is really overloaded at work, and we don't know what to do.
We don't know how to read blogs any easy way. We just click on the blog links from my big world blog. We know there is probably an easier way, but mom has no time to figure it out.
Hope you are doing much better and eating and drinking lots and lots!

Hi MoMo! We think it is great that you get to go out in the morning and that you get a little time out there before it gets too hot.

We are having problems with updates getting to us really slowly but we do eventually get them. But we are having lots of other weird issues with blogger stuff lately so there must be something weird going on.

Hmmmm, you really are having a time with blogs. I hope someone can help you find a solution. That's no fun.

It's nice you get to go outside for a while in the morning before the heat settles in for the day. Before long we'll be sweltering here and we're not looking forward to that. We all lost a lot of weight last summer - except Jan.
