Thursday in the Garden

It's been wet lately so I have been staying indoors much of the time and only come out to inspect the garden with SS when the rain eases up. See the yellow flower behind me?

It bloomed almost overnight. It's wild, as are much of the plants in our garden. It has a lovely fragrance too. Most of these native plants have huge, colourful flowers.

That is a lovely flower. We haven't been out much lately either because of the rain, but it is supposed to be better from tomorrow.

Two words-
garden envy!

I am allowed outside now in the afternoon when the courtyard is shaded. I have to be supervised so I don't skip out over the fence, but it's better than nothing!

It is hard to believe that lovely flower is wild. But I truly believe that wild flowers are sometimes much prettier than the ones we work so hard on. Hope you have a wonderful day

We just love seeing the flowers in your garden because we can't grow the same things here.

That's a gorgeous flower, wild or not. Enjoy your time outside!

Hey, Momo, it's raining here today. We're hoping it will wash away the cloud of yellow pollen so Jan will stop honking and barking. Hope you & SS are well.

Rain isn't fun at all. It seems most of the plants in your garden are fragant. Pleasing to the yes and deliciously perfumed - the best!

It's raining here too. Actually we had hail the other night. It was quite scary to all of us except Jackie. He jumped on the window ledge to check it out.

What a beautiful flower :). It makes me smile :).

Your mom is going to Blog Paws in a t-shirt with your pic on it and taking your own personal business cards with her? All we can say is, Wow!

Oh, we came by to leave you a message since we accidentally left one for Parker, but we see we did leave you one. Well, actually 2, counting Parker's. So we'll just go take a nap and hope it refreshes our memories. Sigh.

How late in the year will you still have the flowers in your garden? The garden is beautiful and I know you enjoy many times outside in it. Enjoy the weather while you can still get outside in the sunshine.
