Post for winter

While our winter can look pretty much like this - misty, wet and grey ....

There are nonetheless some compensations: pretty flowers still blooming in the gloom ...

Colourful birdies still visiting.....

But hey, I've got myself some floof to keep me warm....

Momo - You are fortunate indeed! The winters here in New England are comprised of freezing temperatures, snow, wind, and a total lack of flowers, leaves on trees and wildlife. If it weren't for the crackling fires in the fireplace, it would be totally dismal for many months of the year. I am pleased that it is Spring of the year here, with Summer soon to follow. I wish you a pleasant winter season!

We remember the wet and grey winter very well. It means we can't go walking as much. We are glad you have got plenty of floof to keep you warm. The flower is pretty. Is it a Christmas Cactus? Mum has got a bright pink one which is very old (at least 40 years) and it flowers November/December. It is outdoors for the summer now.

Um, I have something to keep me warm too - um, the vet calls it my "obesity".

Um, at least Zoolatry was sweet to me about it.

Oh dear. And someone tell my mom that I don't eat very expensive Science Diet DIET!!!!! cereal.

Momo, it's good that you can see the silver lining in every black cloud!

The flowers and feathers are very pretty. When you get too cold you can teleport over and visit us in the HOT south. Just wish you could bring SS too. Mommy would love to meet her in person. ~S,S,C & F

PS: We really wishes we could give you some of our blueberries. The beans picked a gallon or more yesterday. They are getting tired of blueberries.

You are having the winter rain and we are having the late spring rain. Keep warm and dry. Stay safe if you have to be outside.
