This is my entry for the Acatemy Award this year, in honour of the great movie. Lawrence of Arabia is one of SS's all time favourites, not the least because T.E. Lawrence was a talented Near Eastern archaeologist.

Sleepy Saturday

It's a muggy Saturday and thunderstorm is in the air.

The best thing to do is curl up with your favourite blankie and toys ......

The book is just there in case I feel like reading. I would infinitely prefer a bowl of treats instead, but SS does not allow food on her bed. :sigh:

Making a birthday cake

Do you think this colourful blanket of mine would turn into a cake if I knead long and hard enough?

Well, you see, it's my SS's birthday today. We are going to celebrate with a special dinner tonight and I would like to contribute to the dessert.

Don't even ask me how old she is. I haven't got enough toeies for counting the years. Suffice to say that she is older than 10 and younger than 10,000.

OK, gotta go, furriends. Work to do for this kitty.

Party's ON

Hey, head over to Opus's place for the surprise party he's giving for his sisfur for her 8th birthday. The place is fitted out into a fifties style cafe, complete with a soda bar, jukebox and a dance floor. The party goes for the whole weekend. So, see you all there.

A surprise party for Ollie

My good furriend Opus is hosting a surprise birthday party for his sister Ollie at his home in Italy. It is a weekend-long party starting Friday. Please go over to help this cutie celebrate her 8th birthday tomorrow. First, do visit them today and read her heart-warming adoption story and subsequent journey from the US to Italy where she became a treasured member of the family.

Sulky Saturday

I am sulking for various reasons:

1. That SS of mine is not helping with blogging or visiting. She is lazy/busy with work. Hey, isn't she supposed to be working for me?

2. Every time she emerges from her study, she is after me with the hated comb, muttering stuff about hairball prevention. Ouch! Has she ever asked me whether I prefer vomiting up the hairballs to being combed and defloofed? Nope.

3. Visitors - most are nice and pay me a lot of attention but some are downright suspicious. One in particular....

If SS is as busy as she says, why is she spending time with this ginger and white mutt and cooing 'Pomelo, Pomelo'?

Enough said. I am going into hiding until dinner time.
