Spring

Spring has sprung in my garden. Since I haven't been posting much lately, I ought to remind efurryone how I look, in case you have forgotten.

Here I am posing in front of my pot plants. These are my pot plants as they are put there at the end of my garden bed for me to enjoy during the spring days.

We have a very pretty flowering plum tree at the back of my garden and I like looking at it from the roof of the garage....

Another one of my favourite spots - the fountain. It doesn't work but I like crouching at the edge watching the birdies....

Of course, the stepping stones are absolutely my favourite sitting places as they are warm and dry....

This is a sad day

My very good furriend, Roscoe, has crossed the Bridge. There is no mieow to express my sadness at his passing. I hope he is happy and I shall look forward to seeing him when my time comes. In the meantime, my purrs and thoughts are with Opus and his family.

Please light a candle for him at http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=ros

Hello, efurryone!!!

Mieow, efurryone!!! It's been a while since I have been able to post in my blog because my SS has been away. Although she has been back for almost a month, she has been sick and we have not had internet connection at home. All in all, blogging has been mostly denied to me. Lucky for me, my furriends (Opus and Roscoe, Karl and Ruis) and my sissy (Sassy), have taken me on a safari to Africa and our exploits can been followed on their blogs.

Now, today is a special day, so we have to try and put up a post. It's my pretend "Gotcha Day" which doubles up as my purrthday. Well, I was a stray, so we don't know my exact purrthday. I came to live with gran when SS was working overseas at the time so the exact Gotcha Day is unknown as well. Therefore, SS and I decide on September 2, since it is the barkday of my sissy, Momo-dog.

I am not sure if I can manage to post, so Opus and Roscoe and Sassy have kindly hosted my purrthday blog, showing the surprise party, gifts and well wishes. Here is a big thank you to all my furriends and sissies for their kindness and company!!!!!

I shall try to post more when our internet is in order.

Drat, SS got the wrong picture up and Blogger throws a hissy fit whenever she tries to change it. For the time being, please admire the back of my head.

Long Farewell

My SS is going to abandon me for a survey in NW Xinjiang, China. Let's see where it is....

She will be a away for weeks and weeks......

Umm, I am a bit worried about her. So I better disguise myself as a Chinese cat and suss out the place. See my slanting eyes .....

I am NOT scared by those Chinese dragons.....

Do you think my SS will live in a house like this one.....

Or more likely to be something like this.....

She hopes to be riding Kazakh horses but I think this is probably what she will be riding around town....

If she thinks that I will be sleeping until she comes home....

.......she had better think again. I have been invited by my boyfriend Socks to visit and by my sissy Sassy and the Italian boys to have adventures. So if I pop up in their bloggie you'll know why. This kitty is NOT staying put.

All graphics except for the yurt were made by those talented kitties and their mom at Zoolatry. Thanks ++++++.

Psssst....
Just a preview of what this kitty will be doing while SS is away....

First Blogoversary

Today is my first blogoversary. How time flies! I started blogging on the encouragement of my NOMSS friend Charlie. It was a grey, rainy day and there was zilch happening.

For some months, I had no visitor other than Charlie. I diligently posted on many topics that interested me regardless, not knowing there were many furries blogging out there. Then, one day in October last year, I decide to google my name for a post and found a dog named Momo living in Canada. I visited and was duly impressed by how many furry friends she had.

Shortly after, I stumbled on a kitty with flamboyant sunglasses. No prizes for guessing who he was. I innocently visited The Cat Realm and asked how on earth he allowed his humans put glasses on him. Silly naive kitty, wasn't I? Karl then introduced me to the Cat Blogosphere , and as they say , the rest is history. I have been having so much fun getting to know the beautiful, kind, caring kitties here, going to parties, picnics and outings and generally having a ball.

So, from not knowing any other furries a year ago, I now have many furriends and, most of all, 3 sissies - Momo dog, Sassy and Asta dog - and a puppy brother, Pinot, Momo dog's little brother. And, of course, my mancatly, handsome boyfriend, Socks.

This is the first series of beautiful graphics that the Zoolatry did for me a few days after I have joined the CB. Title: Supermodel.

Since then the Zoolatry kitties and Ann have done over 25 pictures for me as well as sending me into space!!!!

My sissy, Sassy, on hearing that it's my first blogoversary, sent over a large cake and some gifts.

Please, efurrybady, have a piece and take some home! For the ladies, Sassy has provided fine china to have cakes and tea....

There are roses galore....

As well as a memento for all the kitties who visit me on this happy day........

A crystal rose! Please take one!

Last but not least the warm wishes of my sissy, Sassy, and my kind Italian friends, Opus and Roscoe...

Life is just grand!

Thankyou efurrybuddy for being my friend. I sure appreciate it!!!!!
