Meditation Monday

After the hectic rounds of parties it's time to contemplate on the more sobering aspects of life. Where better to do it than in the warm setting sun of late spring and looking at the blooming roses against a weathered paling fence? Not even the Zen masters would have too much objection to that. Your thoughts please, O inscrutable and wise kitties of the Blogosphere!

Hi Momo - thanks for putting up the cat mummies and fountain! It is certainly a good day for meditation. (I expect that after the weekend you've had and your turn after so many parties that you will need some quiet time - hope you're feeling better.)

I think that I shall join you in soaking up the morning sun outside. Are those rose bushes in your garden? I have one small one, so I shall be next to that.

Yes, the garden is my domain and the rose bushes, my scratching posts. I don't venture too far away in my mature years.

Bleeping warm weather of spring brings out bleeping big spiders.

*hiccup* *sniff* *sob*

I WANTED that big black spider. I was PLAYING with it! It's all curled up now after She sprayed it and it doesn't look at all the same. And she's covered it up with the little sweeper until a brave big boy comes home to take it out.

It is nice to have a Zen garden to rest and meditate in. Purrs.

What a beautiful backyard you have. I was so glad to see you at the Mafia Party. And so nice of you to notice my new hat. I think my new picture makes me look younger don't you?

Late spring twilight in Australia is the most absolutely perfect place to sit outside and meditate on the universe. I've been doing it too!

I think it's a perfect place to meditate. May I join you?

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

Meditation is for all. Perhaps we should establish a Feline Zen Garden as a respite for all kitties to enjoy the contemplative way of life.

Leslie said...

Because you are all OUT and having fun, I got her to carve a whole in the USA foods box that the Dr Pepper came in and now I am in it, and Trixie is ON it!
Roof caving in! Help!

You can come play in my new box if you like.

ARRGGH! Trixie is hitting me from outside with her paw!

She has a "Harmony Garden" Outside her classroom window at work. But there are no cat in it, so it's a bit useless.

Leslie said...

Is there a typing class for cats? She is saying rude words about my "low level" in typing.

Pipe down Pye and clear off out of that box.

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

Pye, no need for typing class - you are doing just fine. Has it occurred to you perhaps your mom really NEEDS a Harmony Garden without cats in it? *sniggers*

Ok, so she has this "little living room". It was the dining room, but now it isn't. She has all her nice things in it.
So, when she's not looking...

Hey, she was at a friend's house this morning for a cuppa tea after going in to school early to write reports and then leaving when all the kids turned upa s it was her day off, and she described me as...

Hold on, a message on the mobile...
It was a boy. Won't he be surprised when he picks up the little blue sweeper?

Anyhow, she described me as like three year old triplets with ADHD.

Um, is that good?

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

Depends on how you look at it - all kitties can have ADHD. It really is a reflection of the patience of the staff/parents. Hey, that's a deep thought! OK, I have handed it my zen homework for the day, which is better than SS who has just typed in her Face book as "hopelessly behind schedule and bored to bits" as an update.

We still like blowflies better than bats. :) We all do the blowfly ballet here just like on the TV where they have that sycn sin syrnsh you know, that swimming where they all do it so artistically?

Gawd, another message. The phone plays the Pink Panther. Hold on.

Gotta run, the L plater wants picking up. We should not tell him what is under the little blue sweeper and should youtube it. *snigger*

Stopping by to let you know that there is a new ballot for the soap title. Voting will start Monday at 11:00 am est and end Tuesday at 9:00 pm est. There were so many entries that there are two ballots so be sure to look at both of them but please vote for only one title.

Fun at the Mafia party huh? We all sure know how to have fun.

Meditating? I think you're contemplating jumping that fence!
Heh,heh,heh.

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

You underestimate me, Mickey! I can easily jump that fence without any sort of contemplation. I used to do it when there was a big nasty dog next door. But since he moved, the challenge is gone and I can't be bothered doing it anymore.

Saw you at the voting today but didn't have time to come over and talk. Turn out has been slow, wonder how things are going to turn out? Not much else going on here today, it has been raining this afternoon making me sleepy. Boy that sure was some party last night huh? Those Italian, or should I say American-Italian cats sure know how to throw a party.
