There was a storm last night and I snuggled under the rocking chair all night. However, morning came and all was beautiful again. After a nice bowl of milk,
I settled down to watch the birdies chirping in the tree,
Then, there was something in the bush, a birdie!!!!!
Oh well, live and let live....... That should please SS who is into Buddhist philosophy of compassion! Now, where is my reward for this exceptional restraint which is totally alien to my nature as a hunter?

WHat kind of bird? I was watching the sparrows in the photinia hedge earlier. :)
Just a small sparrow, nothing exotic! The ones in the trees are more colourful and noisy.
Bummer - missed him by THAT much!
hehehe, you look like you're havin funsies! And maybe you'll get a lotta yummy treats fur your restraint. Wowie, you are such a great-lookin' kitty -- my momma is oohing and aahing ofur the colors of yur furs!
Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
Wonderful photos! Birdies are so much fun to watch. Since I'm an indoor-only cat, though, I've never been able to stalk one outside.
Wow, you got to dine al fresco? You are very, very lucky! I never got to eat Outside before. Except one time, when I was on my harness and leash, I eated a bug.
Ciao Momo!
We know it is late in your neck of the woods, but we got the pizzas out. Hope you can stop by for a slice!
Love,
Opus and Roscoe
Mmmm, morning milk is so good. My momma gives me some of her coffee cream in the morning. And a little bird excursion, too? What a great morning!
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Humans are weird that way. I do of course like to eat many of the things I kill, and as humans kill to eat, this makes it alright. Of course, humans kill for sport too, and that is not alright.
Momo! Momo here. You really have boootiful coat! I love the second picture!
Thanks for bringing a bag of lizards to Opus and Roscoe's pizza pawty! Whoa, I've never seen them in my life! I am still around at the pawty but there are so MANY kitties and hard to locate you! :)
Momo xoxo
I am so glad the storm didn't cause any damage for you~!!
You are so cute when you chase the birdy~!
Hi Momo,
You post so fast that an old dog has trouble getting around here in time - I'm also late for Roscoe's pizza party in Pisa - I'd like to watch you cats put that tower right, but I don't think that the humans will appreciate it!
Also, have you tried imaginary hunting? It's just as much fun, and you ALWAYS catch what you're after!
licks & slobbers

P.S. all you cats out there - if I make it to my 14th birthday in December, I'm throwing a big bash and you're all invited!

It seems there are darn sparrows all over the world! We fear they may be plotting to take over the world!
Thanks for coming to our party Momo. It was so much fun to see you! Did you spend the night too?
Love,
opus and roscoe
You are one lovely huntress! Your fluff showed up nicely against the green grass, MoMo! I love to watch birdies, too. It is my favorite hobby, next to napping and purring.
G'day, we are all napping in front of Gilmore Girls season 3 during the public holiday.
We will try very hard to pop in on Friday. We have never been to a Sydney Uni - She went to Armidale Uni.
Friday at 11 can be tricky as She is at school teaching Maths, then at the school assembly at that time.
We will make a special effort though! Maybe we can teleport by ourselves. :)
