Knots, knots, go away!

Oh, woe!!!!!!

After dinner last night I was comfortably settling down on the chair when out came the towel. The towel and the carrier are my nemesis. I am always terrified when these come out. They really should be locked in the garage and forgotton.

I was bundled up and held. Worse to come - the dreaded scissors!!!!

The ordeal took forever, I put up a fight as usual and cried as if I was being murdered.

I WAS (nearly)!!!

There was BLOOD. Lucky to report that it wasn't mine. Stupid SS cut herself. Her blood stained my fur.

Needless to say I went into hiding for the rest of the evening, but not before I had my compensatory treats. SS also needed a treat after the stressful task. No, she did not like Temptations, she preferred liquer chocolates. Goodness knows how many she had, she was still at it when I went into hiding.

Knots, knots, go away!
Don't ever come back,
No, not any day!

Oh no! I hate knots! My mom was always afraid to use scissors to cut them out because of the horror stories she had heard. She has since discovered that she can use my nail clippers with the blunt end and they work pretty well.

I'm sorry you had to go through that, Momo. Boodie gets mats, but they are easy to get out and she does not complain much. I don't get any and neither does Binga. We are all very lucky!

Of course, my human needs NO excuse to have liquer chocolates.

We are very glad that our fur is not long enough to get knots, although Eric used to get the 'dreaded clumps' above his tail before he lost some weight. We can't understand why SS should prefer liquer chocolates to Temptations. Our mum does too. Strange humans!

I gets knots in my fur and the Mommy has to cut them out. I don't like it much put it is better then her trying to comb them out. I just gets them on my belly. ~Artemisia

LOL! Sorry, it's not us laughing, it's the mom! She sympathizes with your mum for some reason. Go figure.

We're just glad that blood wasn't yours! :-O

Poor MoMo! I don't get knots, but Figgy and Jonesie do...and once Nigel had to go to the ::shudder:: groomer! My momma Ellie and I have what my mom calls "bunny fur" and it never mats up.

I think SS got the right cure for her issues, because mom swears that chocolate cures all.

Do you have a furminator to help prevent the knots MoMo? Bennette loves it so much I think she'd go bald if mom wasn't careful!

yikes. glad you survived.

I *TOTALLY* sympathize, having lots of knots myself.

I do *NOT* like having them removed, either. I scream bloody murder. Please do not tell any of your other cat friends that I am such a wimp.

You are probably better about it than I am. I am glad you survived. AGAIN!

Oh my Cod, that sounds like an ordeal indeed! Lately I've been getting knots in my 'tock floof and mom has been at it too. Take the weekend off and rest, you two.

What! There are rules about this sorts of things isn't there? Will have to check out the manual and see if thsi is allowed. When I saw that there was blood I thought for a moment that you bit SS, would have served her right. I have nipped for less than that. Like putting clothes on me.
Anyway teleport over and come early and stay late.
So looking forward to the party tomorrow!!

We saw your note on the CB about a couple more states flooding. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh, the horrors! The tortures we long haired kittehs endure! (Just last week, Daddy and Mommy teamed up on Caramel, AKA Floofs, to trim some unmentionables near her rear end.)

Oh no! Blood staining your pristine furs!
Maybe you should try Petzoom? It is a brush and Armani and Chester just LOVE it. Me of course, my furs are purrfect so I don't need to be brushed.
