This post is dedicated to my non-blogging furriends in far away Hong Kong.
My SS stopped in Hong Kong on her way back from Xinjiang some weeks ago. She met some lovely people there, one of whom have some gorgeous furries. Unfortunately, one of the kitties, Maume, went to the Bridge while SS was there. Her mom was heart-broken.
Sesame, Maume's younger brother, a kitty with lovely expressive eyes. He loved posing for the camera.
Here is the beautiful, gentle woofie sister, Suet Suet, carrying SS's special bag with my hand-painted portrait. Inside the bag was Maume's cremated remains. SS and her friends were on their way to take Maume to be buried in Lamma Island where she spent her happy kittenhood. This was taken at the pier where the party was waiting for the boat. As Maume was a tuxi girl, all the beans wore black and white in her honour.

It looks like Maume was sent to the rainbow bridge with love and care.
We are sorry Maume had to go to the rainbow bridge. It looks as if she was very loved. ~S,S & C
Maume had a wonderful funeralthere. We are sorry to hear that she left her family.
Maume had a very lovely burial and it is so sweet of her dog sister to carry her remains!
Maume looked like a very loved cat with a very lovely family: she went to the rainbow bridge happily, that's what I think :)
Hi MoMo I'm sure she is chasing squirrels over there.
I left you a MeMe at my place. I also checked out our young NFC. She is very pretty.
No pressure on the MeMe. I'm pretty casual about these things.
My first year Mommy thought I was shed free, but I've made up for it ever since.
Very sorry to learn about Maume's loss - sending purrs to her family..
What a lovely story, and how sweet that they involved the whole family, I can see how much love was around :)
Maume was lucky to be so loved. That was very sweet.

That was a nice story...so to hear about Maume...she was well loved.
Maume obviously had a very loving family. I love the pic with the woofie carrying her remains.
Hello Momo,
the story of Maume was sad and beautiful at the same time. My mom just explained to me, what "the rainbow bridge" is. I am very confused now. But I liked the fact, that we will all meet there again!

They look like such nice friends! We're sorry to hear about Maume, but it sounds as though she has a wonderful spot to sleep while her spirit runs across the Bridge.

Hi Momo,
you mean if I shed now? Nope, it's still not very noticeable but I'm sure changing my fur as we are getting well into autumn. Right now my mom is happy enough with all the dirt I bring inside, tangled in my fur (leaves, little sticks, birch seeds, dirt in general...). And thoes snowshoe-paws get really muddy, don't you think? Well, that's what they have to put up with! :)
