Big game coming up for the Green Bay Packers when they clash with the New York Giants on Sunday for a place in the Super Bowl.
As the official Cheerleader in the Nationa Feline League, I have been asked by Derby to cheer for the Packers. I am, of course, most pleased to do so since my friends Zippy, Sadie and Speedy are playing for them. And I LOVE cheese!
Therefore I have spruced myself up and donned the official cheerleader uniform for the occasion (see sidebar). It might interest some of you that the Packers have not had an official cheer squad since 1988 despite having a large fan base. Local college cheerleaders have lent their services whenever they played at home.
The other kitties at the Cat Blogosphere have also put their weight behind our quest for glory and contributed chants and slogans which I will be using in my routines. A promotion poster has also been made by the Zoolatry.

G'day! Is it raining there? It is here but lightly. We finished the whole of the Lovejoy series and are watching Hardy Boys. :)
We just downloaded two new gorgeous layouts. One has a dragonfly!! H'mm, which cat deserves a dragonfly?
Yep, that layout did not take long, it was a blend of two (I had to go look up the credits in my sidebar) and they went together quickly without fuss.
I'm getting more discerning, I can throw them out now if I don't like them. It took two goes to do the daffodils for mom's poem last night. I wasn't happy with the first but was pleased with the elements in the second which I kept.

SO PLEASED that Charlotte's mum is back. Trixie wants to know if Pye can go live with you as she is dark green with jealousy if anyone even looks at Pye. *sigh*
She gets so much cuddle time and special Trixie time... Lullabyes get sung, computer gets put down and hugs are shared. She just wants to be an only cat.

Yeah, Tigger doens't care much who lives here. She just stalks about, green eyes flashing and occasionally playing thundering herd of elephants.

I wonder how many times, in how many ways, I can use elements of this layout. This was just learning... Er, think I used all of them in one pic.

Hey Charlotte, don't tell anyone but we had to look to see if that was a football in the picture.
Hey Momo - do you have a photo program? I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. You can do very simple, just using backgrounds and frames and "ploppers" where you just put the photo in - to slightly more complex like I am doing with using several layers and elements - up to very high level. Maybe I will get near there in a few years.
Just went back and counted - that pic had three backgrounds, then the photo, then nine elements or extras I added in. I think I used all but one in the kit, which I got on sale for US$2.85.
I expect to get a lot of use out it. Must go do the credits.

it is supposed to be about 11 degrees F in Green Bay with a wind chill that will make it seem like minus 59 degrees F. You'll be shaking your pom-poms without any help at all! Good Luck!

Hahaha, it's 1 degree in Green Bay wif a wind chill of -12! It is colder den dat here in Wauwatosa, we is glad we is inside! Mom and dad don't really watch football, dey is kinda weerd. But we certainly like to watch yoo cheer Momo, yoor furry good!

I am sad to say I am sorry that Green Bay did not win, it was a close game but that doesn't matter when the Super B is up for grabs. Green Bay lost 20 to 23, too sad.

A package arrived in the mailbox just now from ebay! The packet smelled really good and I got my head stuck in it. Mom sprinkled some on Trixie by mistake and she loves herself more than someone who shall have to be nameless loves himself now.
And then she put some in the new palm tree scratching post and Trixie who is too fat went in!
And I jumped on the bowl with the Science Diet and looked really silly the way I was hogging into it.
We have never seen dried nip before.
