Thursday in the garden

This February is one of the hottest and driest on record. Our garden has not come up well with only the natives and the flowering trees still performing.

This is the jasmine tree with its very fragrant flowers. Does anyone know the name of the tree with the pretty pink flowers? We have had these for a long time.

This is a native plant. They did very well last year but due to neglect there are fewer blooms this year.

This is just to show that despite my frail condition, I still take my gardening duties very seriously....

Please don't overdo in the garden MoMo. You are very precious to me. ~Socks

The pink thing kinda looks like a crepe mrytle, but we couldn't tell for sure from the picture.

Artemisia is very excited at the chance to show our garden off to our guest.

Please don't work too hard in the garden MoMo.

Hey, do you need some extra paws to help you with the garden work? Seems we could organize a garden work party for you...we could all teleport over and play...I mean work in the dirt.

Even if it is hot and dry, your garden looks very nice, Momo.

Thank you for your thoughtful and kind comments when Maggie had to run off to the bridge. We are sad, but we are getting much encouragement from our wonderful friends like you.
