The jacaranda is flowering furiously providing great colours to our garden....
even to the extent of providing a spotted lilac carpet....
Other plants are also flourishing....
Let it not be said that I am not a working kitty. Here I am checking out the weeds....
After all the hard work, this kitty earns a well deserved rest in the sun......

We're glad to see a garden post! We're in Canada, aren't sure if any of the US gardening kitties will post tomorrow because of their holiday, but we scheduled our garden post anyway.

Hi there MoMo! They call the day following Thanksgiving "Black Friday" because all the retail stores open super early...some at 4am and some earlier and they have crazy sales. I think they call it Black Friday because it's typically the first day of the year the retail stores go from being "in the red"...losing money to being "in the black" finally turning a profit! The sales here are nuts with some people camping out at stores over night and pushing and shoving. It's enough to make a cat shudder.
You have such beautiful flowers there and a lovely garden. No wonder you enjoy sunning in it.
