Thursday in the Garden

While the hibiscus and daisies are still going strong, most of the other flowers, such as bottle brushes, roses and jasmine, are on their last legs. This is the only new bloomer in the last week.....
It is a native. Its pretty pink blossoms attract many birdies but as it is quite a tall tree with slender trunk and branches, they are not within my reach. I resign myself to following the fading sun.

What an interesting tree. We wishes we had one. ~AFSS

PS: The Candlebush attracts a lot of birds when it blooms in the fall, but we has the same problem. The trunk is too slender for us to climb, we has paws crossed Artie might manage it, she is small and fast those birds better watch out for her.

Think that tree is giving one last shot of showing it's beautiful flowers before your winter get started. Enjoy the outside while it is still nice.
