The Return of the Natives - 1

At long last, we arrived at our ancestors' home.....

The forest of Norway

l. to r. Moi, Siena, Fin
right corner: Miss Kitty

We had a great time exploring the forest and before we knew it, it had gone dark and cold....

l.to r. Moi, Fin, Siena, Miss Kitty

Little Siena was tired and curled up for a nap while we older kitties stood guard. Good thing we have our long floofy coats to keep us warm and dry.

The next morning we came across a cabin in the forest.....

We rested up a little bit before exploring further north in the country where it was much colder.

Then, all of a sudden the weather turned bad. It snowed and snowed.......

We decided maybe it was time to go. Fin has a large estate nearby so we thought we would all accompany her there to make sure her minions were behaving themselves. However, before leaving Norway, Fin thought we should experience more of its natural wonders, so we headed off to the Arctic circle....

To be continued......

Momo, Miss Kitty, Fin and Siena signing off . Please visit their blogs for more of our adventures.

Those pictures sure look awesome. But also VERY cold! We are glad we don't have to be there but can watch from our warm home, hahahahahaha - looking forward to tomorrow!

The forests of Norway look very beautiful, but also very cold. I hope you have some warm jackets, as well as your floof, when you visit the Arctic Circle.

This is such a wonderful adventure. The forest looks more beautiful with the addition of the floofy sisters. You are lucky to have had snow, your furry paws will keep your toes warm.
Make sure your furs are puffed up when you get to the land of the Sami!

Fun, fun and more fun to you all!

Oh I really like that cabin in the wood...it has such a nice mossy roof. I bet it smells real good inside with all the woodsy mossy scents all around. Did you see any faries out there in those woods? The snow would be way too cold for me with my short furs....

Those are beautiful photos. Make sure you wrap up warm though. The Beans went to the North Cape in Norway last year in July and it snowed even then for a short while.

Puh, I am pretty much exhausted. All this running around, climbing and sniffing made me tired. Everything is so interesting! Isn't it great we got to know something about our great ancestor? Can't wait 'til tomorrow.
