Remembering Roscoe

Today is the birthday of my good friends, the Italian farm boys, Opus and Roscoe. It would have been Roscoe's 13th birthday but he left us for the Bridge just 13 days ago. To honour the occasion, a wake has been arranged here. Please go and leave a comment or post a tribute to this fun-loving, talented kitty.

Farewell, dear friend, until we meet again. You always have a place in my kitty heart.

Dennis thinks Roscoe had the sweetest face of any boycat out there. Dennis says hang in there, Opus, and hope for a kitten soon--they can be crazy those kittens but are worth it!

Oh Sweet Momo thank you for the kind post about Roscoe. It was a bit sad to have my birthday without him, but it was wonderful to celebrate his life and remember all of the good times that shared together.

Now, it is still my birthday. Could I borrow your tira? You know, in the spirit of Roscoe of course!

Love,
Opus

That's lovely, Momo. I'm a little late, but will remember Roscoe today.

What a sad day but yet Opus made such a beautiful celebration of Roscoe's life that I at times was able to smile about something said.
I miss him so much. I know in the brain that he had to go but the heart is not listening too good and making me sad a lot about him leaving. I know we will see him again, I know he is not ill, I know he is happy with his old friends that were waiting for him and I know he has met new friends.

I never met Roscoe but he had a lot of kitties who really loved him.

This is such a sad day for Roscoe and all his friends and family. It's hard to celebrate when you're dripping on the keyboard.
