No, SS, you know that's NOT what I mean! See what I have to put up with.
It has beeen raining for the last few days and I have been bored. During my early morning patrol around the garden I spotted a cute grey and white mousie, very much my colouring with soft white fur on its neck and underside but minus the dilute calico patches on its back. Had great fun with it but it eventually gave up the ghost and died. Pity!
I left it on a very prominent patch of grass in direct view of all and waited for the response, knowing that SS's sister would scream when she sees it and refuse to leave the house. Silly girl! Unfortunately, she worked late last night and slept in. SS is rather indifferent to mousie and doesn't have any explosive reaction. She usually just coos what a good kitty I am (yes, yes, I know I am) and rewards me with a nice bit of cheese and milk. Of course, I would assume my nonchalant demeanour as she coos away and picks up the dead mousie for disposal.

Our Mommy has the same reaction to presents as your SS's sister - she screams for Daddy to come and clean up the dead thing. We hate that she doesn't like our presents, but we'll keep bringing them, just in case.
Thanks for stopping by our blog - we love meeting new friends!
hehe, my momma doesn't get too freaked out about critturs -- we're all indoor kitties but once in a while a mousie gets in here. But not too many! Not too many mousies wanna get in a house with FOUR kitties!
Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
good hunting - we don't get to go out, so we can't catch stuff like that.
Yes, Georgia says Momma doesn't like pressies too much either...
Did ya get to eat the rest of the mouse, ha, ha, ha. Kind of a boney thing aren't they? Stop on by I have the main characters in CCSI II featured. Thanks for all the long hours of resheral.
Whoa sissy! I am chicken. It's kinda well known at our place. :( I jumped when I saw this picture.

Mom gets rid of Zippy's too. She don't freak out unless Zippy brings dem in alive and lets dem go!
Your Mom may dispose of your offerings, but what a way to get treats!!!
I would have to wait for the mouse to come inside! :( Right now the only thing coming inside are spiders. I ignore them and Mom goes nuts. She hates spiders!!!(talk about getting a reaction!)

Yum, spiders. we's got... um, had lotsa spiders, but me 'n mine helpers, we gots them all. i always get lots of treats when my beans see me hunting. i am not allowed outside, but i's even gotted baby snakies who get in unnerneath tha door.
u's must live in a wonnerful place to be able to hunt mice. i's can only dream.
Purrs, KC
Wow, I am very impressed with your hunting ability! I have never seen a real, live mouse. I only get to go outside on my harness or in my stroller, and we've never had any mice in our house.
Awesome. Mombean is actually going to the office supply store today cause she needs a new mousie... we think we'll point this one out to her. Hers got all sticky cause Zoey sits on it all the time!
I haven't even seen a mousie in years (a real one). Sigh...
Good job! But you would think that will all the trouble we go through to get them that they would be kind enough to eat.
Unfortunately since we don't get to go outside anymore, we can't leave half eaten gifts for Momma anymore....she spoils all of our fun.

Excellent hunting Momo! And we think it was very nice of you to leave your prize where it could be found and enjoyed by all!
Good catch, Momo! I don't think I'll find any mousies for a while now that it's all snowy outside, but sometimes they come inside in the winter and Coco and I can find them! That was smart to leave it where everyone can see. I bet your SS was very impressed.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
P.S. I think maybe they do teach bad words in graduate school.
Wow! You caught a mousie!
Haha, but that pictor of the other mousie simpwy cwacks mine Mummy up.
Good hunting, MoMo! We are all indoor kitties, but we managed to present mommy with a dead bug yesterday morning . . . neatly placed next to her slippers by the bed! We were all sitting in a line waiting for her pleased reaction, too. She did tell us we were good kitties and snuggled us, but I don't think she liked the bug much. She gave it a burial at sea.
I always make a point of eating my dead mice. Not the whole lot, usually just the bottom half, then I leave the top half for the humans to admire. FAZ
That must be fun to play with a real mousie. We indoor kitties only get to play with the fake kind. It is fun however to hide them and make Ma step on them. Sometimes we get a good reaction!
Well Done Momo! Too bad you didn't get a screaming reaction though, thats always exciting!
Congratulations on getting a mouse! I am a little bit upset because I have never gotten any cheese or milk after catching a lizard. This seems a little unfair of my Mommie.
Them mousie toys don't last furry long, do they.
Mousies huh? i've never seen a mousie before... what is it? is it alive? does it run?
CAN I EAT IT?!
We've never met a mousie so we don't know how our staff would react. But judging from the way she screams at bugs and spiders, we would guess finding a mousie would be FUN!

Went back to the tea party and saw that I just missed ya. Anyway I'll give my rose to somecat/dog else as you have one yourself. Sorry we missed.
Congrats on snaring the mouse! Always a satisfying achievement. Kate is never as cool as SS but never as freaked out as it sounds like SS's sister gets... somewhere in between.
Hey Sissy... this is our regular routine to check out your blog in the end of the day to say hello. so HELLO! :)
Momo xoxo
Oah~~
Sorry for that mouse died~!
But... it still could be used right?
Uh, what could a real dead mouse be used for? SS might be one cool bean lady but I don't think she is quite up to skinning and stuffing a mousie no matter how cute it might be. So I hope Adan or some other kitties can enlighten us on this! Nothing too gross please.
What a great cat you are! We never caught a real mouse before, but that is because we are indoor cats. We use to be realy good at fly hunting when we were young. At our age, we just bat at the darn things if they come close enough.
See you on the set!
Opus and Roscoe
Good work MoMo. A dead mouse is the best kind!
Wow you got great hunting skills ~ too bad your plan of scaring SS's sister didn't work out ~ he he...
love from Snow & Forest :)
Ok ya are not the first one to want me to write an autobiography so I will say I'm workin on it. We'll see. Also, wanted to mention that Opus & Roscoe are starting to promote the show so check them out. The production crew has decided that any photos ya want to use off of our posts regarding the show are yours to use. Help spread the word, tell your friends, and tell them to promote the show and borrow photos from our posts. This is getting down to the wire now and I am so excited!!!! I even have a counter on my blog!!!! Thanks for being such a sweetie on and off of the set and especially such a good friend to me.
I don't blame you, Momo. My interest in bones waned some years ago when my teeth wore out. Those look pretty icky
-Charlie
Good work wiv catching the mousie. When I catch them I play wiv them and give them to mum. She tells me I'm a clever boy, then I let Eric eat them. She only freaks out when Eric yaks them up in the middle of the night, and she steps in it when she goes to the Bean litterbox room.
Hi momo!
My mommy works at a vet clinic, and when i go visit all the girls carry me around cuz i'm a good kitty puss and they think i'm cutes.
When i get to close to our railing on the porchs, my mamabeanie holds my tail lightly to make sure i dont get too close... cuz i'm not all growed up yet and still dont know betters...
Hi again, Momo- just stopped by to tell you that I'm holding a special screening of an academy-award-winning animal film on my blogsite to celebrate the hard work that went inot CCSI! Stop by, and tell your friends!

Hey, Momo,
We read Momo & Pinot's comment on Sassy's Tales about CCSI being featured on Animal Internet and when we dropped by there we saw your lovely photo with your comment. Good to see you are getting out and about to help promote the upcoming CCSI premier.
We're so excited. Can't wait to see everyone in it, especially our Percy.

Hi Sissy, hope you got home safe after Asta's pawty. Did you find NYC cold?? :) I had the bestest time with you and our friends!!! Pinot was a bit shy in the beginning but thanks for being with him. He was chatty with girls after a while.
He keeps telling me he was very happy to spend lots of time with you.
Momo xoxo
Hey stoppin to see what's up? I haven't seen a lot of action on the set of CCSI I sure hope nothing is up.
Momo! help! I have got FAT! My collar popped off me and won't go back on. All the cat collars are only 12 inch!!
Snot fair!!! I have to have my name tag on - mom says so!
Oh, this is Trixie.
Momo,
We made a mistake when we wrote the 9th. We are so sorry but the show will air on the 14th. Don't worry, it will air again and again.
